Main Body of Lesson

• Discuss the centi prefix; they will be most familiar with this prefix and should use it when applying other prefixes
• Discuss milli and kilo; again they should be familiar with these.
• Pupils to complete the table on question sheet P3002, try to get them to spot the fact the x10x goes up in 3s
• Introduce the Terrible Gigantic Mega Killer MUNP; this is one way to remember the order to prefixes. If they can remember kilo they can work from there
• Pupils to complete the questions on sheet P3002
