Class Experiment 1

Step 1: The pupils use Ohmmeters to see the effect of adding know resistors in series. Step 2: Start again, this time with a power supply and observe the affect of increasing the resistance on the current. Step 3: Start again, this time adding voltmeters, to see how the p.d. is split. Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 using the resistors to make a parallel circuit. Step 5: The pupils are allowed to measure the reisitance of 'black box' resistors. Knowing the components, they should be able to work out the order.
