Physics Department Homework Policy

This policy should be read in conjunction with the School’s Homework Policy (http://bit.ly/lpXryw).

While there is a lot of research about the pros and cons of homework (http://bit.ly/kFXZJS), we as a department should be setting homework in line with the School’s policy.

Homework should be used as a way to extend our pupils and allow them to practice skills acquired during lessons. It needs to be relevant, worthwhile and marked.

Wherever possible homework tasks are suggested in the Wiki. Please add to these whenever you create a useful homework exercise.
