Main Body of Lesson

The main body of the lesson consists of a modified Vince sheet which we've used for a while and some work with ammeters and voltmeters. This is an ideal time to ensure that they can use ammeters and voltmeters correctly. Ideally they would have simple ammeters and voltmeters rather than multimeters. There is a powerpoint with the relevant circuit diagrams on.

Plenary

Use the toaster link in the powerpoint to go to a circuit simulator and check understanding

• Read 178-179 and answer questions - nice recap of last year and some meter questions
• Read 186-187 and answer questions - series parallel questions
