Pupils in groups of ≤4 research and produce two minute talks on:
i) the celestial basis of time; ii) sundials and gnomon; iii) water clocks and hourglasses; iv) mechanical clocks; v) quartz crystal clocks; vi) atomic clocks.
Plenary
Pupils present to the rest of the class
Homework
Produce poster about their area of research
