This lesson is available to address any maths short comings in your group you wish. Examples of skills include:

  • Using standard form - can be done on whiteboards quickly
  • Using calculators to do complicated calculations - e.g finding escape velocity or finding density of objects
  • Using SI prefixes - can use the prefix checker grid
  • Rearranging equations - focus on basic 3 quantity equations and give harder equations to the more able
  • Plotting graphs - can be distance-time, velocity-time or any other graph really
  • Finding gradients and area under graphs - can be linked with previous skill or carried out independently
